Being a working girl as I am, I had to figure quick ways to look my best even when I don't have the time to do so. Most mornings I don't find the time to pamper myself at home, so I had to create a Beauty kit that I could use on my way to work, or when I got to work.
I like to keep my makeup simple and just enhance my natural beauty, I don't like heavy coverage or very bold eye makeup, I just enjoy to add little touches to keep my face looking fresh and natural.
MY ON-THE-GO BEAUTY KIT
+ Lip balm. I never leave the house without a good lip balm. I love my lips, so keeping them hydrated during the day is a must for me, and it's also a great way to add a little shine to the lips. I like using my Caudalie lip balm, it smells great and my lips feel soft an hydrated. TIP: If you love to keep your lips moisturised the Glossier Coconut Balm is perfect!
+ Mascara. Everyone knows that the eyes are the window to the soul, and a little bit of mascara makes a hug difference. Even if you only use mascara and nothing else, your eyes will look great! I don't enjoy over the top lashes, so my Benecos mascara does the trick.
+ Eye liner pencil. Whenever I need to define my eyes for any reason, my eye liner pencil does the trick. It gives me a little more confidence when I wear it, because it makes my eyes pop! It's also a great ally when you need to transform your look for a date or a night out. I like using the Lily Lolo eye liner because the colour is so rich and it lasts me all day.
+ Natural face coverage. On those days that I do need a little bit of covering up I like to have in hand a BB cream or something simple with a very light weight coverage, just to conceal the redness on my face and give it a little glow. Even when I had acne I hated the look of too much foundation over those pimples. My BB cream from Lily Lolo gives me the perfect amount of coverage and a great glow. TIP: the Glossier Perfect Skin Tint seems like the perfect coverage to use when you just want to enhance your natural beauty.
+ Rich Oil. I always take with me a face oil, I use them a lot when I feel that my skin need a little bit of moist, and it also helps with some pimples sometimes make a visit. I use the Balm Balm Frankincense oil every morning and my sink feels fresh and ready for the day, and when I have a pimple or two, it helps with redness and to calm my skin.
+ Hand cream. Another essential, specially on the cold months, having a hand cream near by is really a life saver for me. I wash dishes a lot in my work, so my hands get very dry by the end of the day, but by applying some hand cream during the day I can avoid dry hands by the end of a day's work.
